COURSE CONTENT: SAFETY AND QUALITY AT THE OPERATOR LEVEL
TIME-COST-PLACE: 8-HOURS, $150 PER STUDENT, CUSTOMER SITES
(OSHA Training Institute Course 7011) communicates the latest bolting techniques and approved safety standards, all geared to the first line mechanics, millwrights, pipefitters, ironworkers and their immediate supervisors. As an approved OSHA course it fits in with plant Voluntary Protection (VPP) Programs and ensures that workers have been "qualified" to safely perform their complex and often risky work.
This course is designed to be given on-site to groups of 10-15 persons at a time. Sessions last 8 hours and focus on one of three tracks which correspond to the three basic kinds of industrial bolting:

Track 2 deals with machine connections where the goal is alignment and stability of component parts in larger mechanical assemblies. Examples of industries where mechanical joints prevail are :
